Week 6 Day 3 2010-08-02 68 282 total pushups! I reached the end of the training! Now I take a day or two of rest and the next time I get down for some pushups I'm going for the 100!!!
Week 6 Day 2 2010-07-27 66 254 pushups!!! Hoo-ha! Looks like I'm going to have to do my final set before my 100 attempt during my relay race! :-)
Week 6 Day 1 2010-07-25 55 220 total pushups! I should be able to do 100 straight before the end of the week! Woohoo!
Week 5 Day 3 2010-07-19 50 200 total pushups!!! On to week 6!
Week 5 Day 2 2010-07-14 55 195(!) total pushups!!! For my max set, I equalled my personal best, set 15 years ago during the rainy summer in Camp Torah Vodaath. I am exCITED for my next set!
Week 5 Day 1 2010-07-12 41 171 total. I did all the sets cleanly. No cheating, no stopping, no getting on my knee for a second to catch my breath. Liiiiiiike buttah!
Week 4 Day 3 2010-07-09 40 I cannot believe I finished it all. I did 160 pushups? I maxed at 40? Wow. On to week 5, which I susPECT I may do more than once, but I'm feeling optimistic. 160?!
Week 4 Day 2 2010-07-06 37 Continued where I left off from last week and am back on track. 141 total. Much later in the evening, I tossed in 25 more for kicks.
Week 4 Day 2 2010-07-02 36 Mff, urk. Urgh. Wheedled and grunted my way through the sets, but I made it. 140 total!!! My weak is messed up though, because for the first part I was on trains, planes and automobiles, so maybe I'll try Week 4 again. No biggie.
Week 4 Day 1 2010-06-30 38 Literally and figuratively getting stronger with each turn. Cranked out 126 of these bad-boys and couldn't believe it when I maxed at 38. So cool that I'll probably be able to do 40 with my next session.
Week 3 Day 3 2010-06-25 35 Got winded midway through, but kept at it and pounded out 127. Final set I just kept going until 35. I smell 100. Mmhm.
Week 3 Day 2 2010-06-23 25 Grinded my way through 100 total. 100 total! Wow!
Week 3 Day 1 2010-06-21 28 88 total pushups, max 28, actually felt like a breeze. Excited that this is going so well.
Week 2 Day 3 2010-06-18 25 86 total, max 25. On the last set my chest BURNED! OH, did it burn!
Week 2 Day 2 2010-06-16 23 75 total, max set: 23. The more I do, the easier it is to do more.
Week 2 Day 1 2010-06-14 20 68 Total pushups, max set of 20. W1D1 a success. So far, so great.
Week 1 Day 3 2010-06-11 18 62 pushups in total. Week 1 a success. 5 weeks to go to 100 consecutive!
Week 1 Day 2 2010-06-09 15 53 total pushups with a max set of 15. No problems yet except for residual soreness from first workout and other activities this week. So far so good.
Week 1 Day 1 2010-06-07 10 46 pushups in total. And so it begins! 100 pushups, here I come!

83 2010-08-06 I'm going to go for the 100 once a day, every day until I get it.
81 2010-08-05 First 100 attempt: 69. Second: 81. Next: I'm gonna nail it.
69 2010-08-04 Went for the 100, could only get to 69 before collapsing (a new PR!). I did the remainer 31 after 2 minutes rest, but it's not 100 straight. I will reattempt soon. I will not be denied.
61 2010-07-21 Clobbered my old record of 55! Week 6 and 100 straight, here I come!
45 2010-07-10 Week 5, here I come!
