Week 6 Day 2 2010-08-05 45 Again, this is for the left-hand column. Feeling stronger today, but still only managed one above the minimum for the last set. I'll finish out the week on the lightest program, then run an exhaustion test to see if I can work on the middle column. Audrey, you're such a good coach :D
Week 6 Day 1 2010-08-03 22 Couldn't do more than 40 pushups today, so I finished the workout in the left-hand column. Even though I only managed to do 22 pushups on the last set, I performed a total of 136 pushups today. I did much better last Saturday. The key is to keep doing pushups and not skip any days.
Week 5 Day 3 2010-07-31 45 Almost fell over at 40, but Audrey kept pushing me. I think we both were a bit more tired today. Only 175 pushups, but also only one week left.
Week 5 Day 2 2010-07-29 50 50 consecutive pushups! Wooooo! That makes 170 total for the day. Feeling much stronger afterwards. Audrey is so encouraging.
Week 5 Day 1 2010-07-27 37 I feel like I cheated on the last set. Also took much more time than 60 seconds of rest between each set. Might need to do last week over.
Week 4 Day 3 2010-07-23 33 130 total pushups. Did them much faster than I have been doing before; don't know if this is good or bad. Almost fell over when I got to 30 on the last set.
Week 4 Day 2 2010-07-21 30 Collapsed after the final set. Hydration is working, but need good night's sleep before Friday. Feel like I'm pushing the limit hard now. 115 pushups today and over two weeks left to hit 100 consecutive. Kinda feel like I'm already there :)
Week 4 Day 1 2010-07-19 29 Keep good form, especially in your legs. Don't fake the hard ones--keep going up and down all the way with your arms. If you can't handle it, you can redo week 3. Good form is key for preventing injuries and maximizing the effect of the exercise. Also, hydrate constantly! Get used to drinking water all the time. This will help you feel more energized before, during, and after. 101 total today! Over halfway to the end :)!
Week 3 Day 3 2010-07-16 24 That's 91 pushups in total today. So hard to do the last few, but wasn't as tired when starting the last set. Stay hydrated--before, during, and after. You'll notice the difference.
Week 3 Day 2 2010-07-14 21 Feeling weaker earlier. Really excited to get to 21 in the final set. Need to take it more slowly next time, and proper form is a priority.
Week 3 Day 1 2010-07-12 24 That's 79 total pushups. The last five or so felt really sloppy, but I kept my back straight and I kept lowering myself at least until my elbows made right angles. My arm muscles were so weak after, I couldn't push myself off the floor to stand up.
Week 2 Day 3 2010-07-09 20 Arms felt like spaghetti near the end, but I made it to 20. Getting pumped for the exhaustion test tomorrow!
Week 2 Day 2 2010-07-07 14 Much harder to do the last set than on W2D1. Maybe not getting enough rest.

25 2010-07-10 I pushed up until I literally couldn't push any more.
