Week 6 Day 1 2010-08-07 0 failed it, got to the 3rd set and got to about 27 and realised htere was no way i could do 30 in the next set then do at least 55 on the last one. I recon had i tried i probably could have finished the 35 and maybe even done the 30 in the next set but no way 55 on the last one. Got triceps and pecs in the gym in a couple of days so i will probably try again in 3 days.

Week 5 Day 1 2010-07-29 48 If you're wondering why this has been so long since week 4 day 3, it is because I failed week 5 day 1 on my first attempt, got a bit demoralized and ended up doing it something like 4 days later.
Week 4 Day 3 2010-07-20 38 Looked at the amount I needed to do before the I went to the gym and forgot in the last set, I maxed out at 38 push ups, but had I known I needed to do 40 I would have squeezed two more out. I will not repeat the day, I will do the exhaustion test and see where I lie in week 5.
Week 4 Day 2 2010-07-17 37 Was going to do this set yesterday but unfortunately I was busy getting a fucking tube put in my arm. Anyhow I continued today and nailed it. Ughh I feel sick.
Week 4 Day 1 2010-07-14 34 Still in the third column... just. Just got slaughtered at the local brewery last night and walked home with a mate who's also doing the program. We did an exhaustion test but I'm not counting it because I was mega drunk (I did 46). Probably shouldn't have done that exhaustion test, or tried doing today's push ups whilst hungover. Anyway I'm totally making excuses, must press on.
Week 3 Day 3 2010-07-12 32 Went a lot better now that I realised you don't wait 60 seconds between sets on the 2nd and 3rd days of weeks 3 and 4. I felt I may have cheated this one a little as I was phoned by my parents during the break before the last set meaning I actually had 150 seconds rest (30 seconds extra). Although I guess it does say "or longer if needed" so I suppose an extra 30 seconds isn't bad. Still managing to keep up the third column so I'm pleased with that.
Week 3 Day 2 2010-07-10 25 Hmm I honestly expected to do better than this, I am getting a little concerned I may have to move down to the 2nd column to continue, however I shall press on. I shall never acquiesce. Shizer... just realised you are supposed to wait 90 secs between each set - no wonder I almost couldn't do it.
Week 3 Day 1 2010-07-07 20 On my initial test I think I did approx. 35 push ups so moved to week 3 immediately. Probably a bad day to start the challenge seeing as earlier I had spent 1hr at the gym working on my triceps and pecs, nevertheless I just about managed to complete the minimum required amount.
