Week 4 Day 2 2010-09-02 40
Week 4 Day 3 2010-09-02 45
Week 5 Day 1 2010-09-02 40 Although it may seem like I'm making no progress because my "Max" has remained 40 on the final set for over three days (besides the fluke 45). This actually means I'm keeping up with the program. If the intensity or duration is increased... Excuse me, I have some situps to do.... there we go... than the workout is becoming harder. If my max remains the same, than I'm keeping up with the workout.
Week 5 Day 2 2010-09-02 45 Todays workout was MUCH more fun. The duration was increased drastically from 5 reps to 8. This made the whole workout more challenging and fun. For some reason, I feel like I'm falling behind or not progressing fast enough. I might redo this week when I'm done just to get ready for the last week.
Week 4 Day 1 2010-08-28 40 Now please nobody get mad at me for only doing 40 this time for my final set. That last workout where I did 45 was a total fluke and an accident, NOT a normal occurrence. Now I have to think of something for breakfast. Any suggestions?
Week 3 Day 3 2010-08-26 45 Today workout was the funniest ever. I started doing the required number of pushups for week three, between 20-35. About half way through the workout on my rest I changed the workout displayed on my screen by accident to the week three for situps. So when I was supposed to do 20 pushups, I was doing 30. And for the final challenge set, I did 45 instead of the required 30. That was a major confidence booster. Still can't believe I did 45 in my final set and a dramatically increased final couple sets. I feel ripped :P
Week 3 Day 2 2010-08-25 35 The pushup program, although very hard, has trouble making me break a sweat. The max number of pushups I can do in the final set as of today is 35. I find songs can do wonders for a workout. For example I was ready to quit by 20 on the final set, the only thing that kept me going was the fact I was listening to the song Pyramid. It reminded me of someone, the thought of whom could keep me going through anything. She has no idea how much I owe her :P
Week 3 Day 1 2010-08-24 30 Anybody that wants to try out for para in the near future should try this program. Go to http://hundredpushups.com/index.html and check out one of the three workouts available to you. There is a 100 pushups challenge, a 200 situps challenge, and a 200 squats challenge. All very fun and interesting. Stick to it and good luck in para. I'm still deciding on weather I want to do Bisley or Para, if I do Bisley I'll be the fittest man on the course :P
