Week 4 Day 3 2010-01-23 50 29-33-29-29-50: 170 push-ups. I HATE push-ups now, ha ha. Week 4 is in the bag. I might be stuck on week 5 for a while, but I'm just glad I don't repeat weeks 3 and 4.
Week 4 Day 2 2010-01-22 42 25-29-25-25-42: 146 push-ups. I barely made the minimum for the last set (which was 36). If I can just make it through Saturday's workout then I will be on week 5, which is a start point. So if I bomb out any time from then on, I will just start over at week 5. If I can't make Saturday, I have to go back to week 3. BARF.
Week 4 Day 1 2010-01-19 40 21-25-21-21-40: 128 push-ups. Week 4 is bringing the pain, ha ha. I barely eked the minimum on the last set (it was 32). I honestly don't think I'll be able to finish the final set for this week, so I may be repeating weeks 3 and 4. Oh well, I'll get to 100 eventually.
Week 3 Day 3 2010-01-16 51 22-30-20-20-51: 143 push-ups. Man, those last 15 or so were really bad, ha ha. Lot of grunting and red face.
Week 3 Day 2 2010-01-14 40 20-25-15-15-40: 115 total. Ugh. I also did cardio in between each set for 90 seconds, and then after the whole thing I went for a 1/2 mile run in the cold. I wanted to run more (because I'm a lousy runner) but I could start tasting my lunch and that was time to stop.
Week 3 Day 1 2010-01-12 30 14-18-14-14-30: Only 90 total. Still fatigued from last week's exhaustion test and Saturday's push-up marathon during Isshin-ryu workout. Oh well, I'm still on target.
Week 2 Day 3 2010-01-02 46 16-17-14-14-46, total 107. Getting there slowly.
Week 2 Day 2 2009-12-31 40 14-16-12-12-40, for a total of 94 push-ups. My arms feel like they're going to explode.
Week 2 Day 1 2009-12-29 30 Total of 88 (14-14-10-10-10-30). I accidentally did the set of 10 3 times instead of just twice. Oh well. 10 push-ups with a 60 second rest in between isn't that much of a game-changer, ha ha.
Week 1 Day 3 2009-12-26 32 Popped 32 on my max, a total of 76 push-ups. Makes my chest and arms wobbly, ha ha. 1/6th of the way!
Week 1 Day 2 2009-12-24 35 73 push-ups in total (10-12-8-8-MAX). 1/9th of the way to 100 consecutive push-ups.
Week 1 Day 1 2009-12-22 23 This was also after doing 65 push-ups (staggered) in class today.
