Week 5 Day 2 2010-04-09 40 ATTEMPTED: 18,18,20,20,14,14,16,40+ ACCOMPLISHED:18,18,20,20,14,14,16,40 The final rep, #40 was 3 half reps, collapsed due to muscle failure each time, and 1 full rep, also collapsed. I count all 4 as 1 full rep. I just REALLY don't want to have to repeat this week, so I kept attempting the last one until I got it. Holy shit, this is tough!
Week 5 Day 1 2010-04-06 35 ATTEMPTED:28,35,25,22,35+ ACCOMPLISHED:28,35,25,22,35 And boy do I suck I was all over the place on my last set, taking 3-5 second stretches 4 times to allow fresh blood into my muscles and arch my back. Even just before my last push-up, I had to do a stretch. I tried to do an extra 36th push-up to make up for the breaks, but couldn't even get it half way up. I collapsed from exhaustion 3 times today. I hate you, push-ups!!! :)
Week 4 Day 3 2010-04-03 34 ATTEMPTED:23,28,23,23,33+ ACCOMPLISHED:23,28,23,23,34 Although I managed to do an extra one at the end, the last set had 3 or 4 pauses lasting 3-5 seconds each.I also unintentionally took 2 days off instead of 1 before this.
Week 4 Day 2 2010-03-30 78 MY GOAL:20,25,20,20,28+ ACTUALLY:20,25,20,11,7 Trying again later this evening.
Week 4 Day 1 2010-03-28 28 MY GOAL: 18,22,16,16,25+ ACTUALLY:18,22,16,16,28! NOTES:29 would have been undoable. On # 28 I 5% kinda gave up on myself and collapsed most of the way through it.
Week 3 Day 3 2010-03-26 22 MY GOAL: 16,21,15,15,21+ ACTUAL:16,21,15,15,22! Complete floor-flopping failure at the end.
Week 3 Day 2 2010-03-22 19 MY GOAL: 14,19,14,14,19+ ACTUALLY: 14,19,14,14,19 (2nde attempt - finished!) I had to do the last 6 reps in sets of 2 with 3 seconds of rest between each set of 2, but I'm counting them anyway. Hopefully my next set won't be too horrible.
Week 3 Day 2 2010-03-20 11 Week 3 Day 2 (1st try) MY GOAL: 14,19,14,14,19+ ACTUAL : 14, 19, 9, 6, 11 Is it me, or is this getting harder? On my last push-up, I had to roll over on my back to get off the floor my arms were so weak. Ugh!!!

Week 3 Day 1 2010-02-04 17 Had to hold my breath the entire 17 pushups. I could have done more, but was miserable.
Week 2 Day 3 2010-01-31 15 I'm starting to wonder if this workout is advancing too quickly. The first set was easy, the last 2 sets were almost impossible to complete. last set: 11+4=15
Week 2 Day 2 2010-01-29 13 I had to do the final 13 as 9,2,2 because my arms kept giving out. This was done after a 300 calorie, 16:45min run on the elliptical.
Week 2 Day 1 2010-01-27 9 Muscles just wouldn't do it at the end.
Week 1 Day 2 2010-01-22 6 I did these after drinking booze all evening.Hooray for me.
