Week 6 Day 1 2010-03-24 100 Hadn't seen that one coming! Felt surprisingly strong already from the first set, so decided to go for it:) So why did it work out? A) Went for a run beforehand to get warm, B) Waited like 10-15mins before doing the max set, C) It was not 100 good form push ups, nor 110% continous. Involved lots of small breaks to catch my breath and chance stance.
Week 6 Day 3 2010-03-21 50 Started out with issues just taking the ones with 30 as I was insanely tired. Ended up with 50 though which is ok considering my physical condition. Not at all ok considering this is my 2nd try at week 6 though.
Week 6 Day 2 2010-03-14 42
Week 6 Day 1 2010-03-07 40
Week 6 Day 3 2010-03-02 75 Had to take some 3-4sec breaks, so it's not 100% continous. But hey woohoo, I am done with the program! Or well, I am probably still not around 100, so next up I will try with week 6 again.
Week 6 Day 2 2010-02-24 70 Amazing workout today, even after a karate session just yesterday. I gave myself 15mins of rest before the max set, and yet it was quite tough as usual. By switching stances and having some short breaks I somehow managed to take it to 70. Never done that before!
Week 6 Day 1 2010-02-20 40 Failed my first workout :/ Had a cold and been off creatine for a week. Blaming it on that along with the literally insane increase in strength required for week 6 compared to week 5.
Week 5 Day 3 2010-02-16 60 Been following the program over the past weeks. Started this with a max of ~45 and from week 4 this time, following middle column. Today I finally reached my old max of 60 pushups. Seems like either this program is working, or else it might be the fact that I am on creatine again.
